Beginning Drama

Argonaut Drama Beginning Drama focuses on the fundamentals of acting through improvisation and scene work. Each class begins with physical and vocal exercises, as well as theatre games focusing on creativity and trust, designed to build an ensemble. Students will learn theatre terminology, be exposed to different theatrical styles, methodically create characters, analyze and critique. There will be opportunities every class for each student to perform.

Class projects include monologue and scene work, the crafting of original playlets, a holiday radio drama, and a Children's Theatre Project performed for local elementary students.

Please see Resources/Links for a copy of the course syllabus, outlining all of the rules, responsibilities, and grading policies of the class.
